Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Casey embodies the perfect balance of experience, curiosity, and humor. Passionate about innovation, people, and the great outdoors, he has that special something that makes meetings (and barbecues) more interesting.

🧭 Who is Casey outside of Techsport?

For Casey, each new year is an opportunity to learn something new. Rather than making resolutions to break habits, he prefers to adopt new ones: scuba diving, road or mountain biking, golf, drawing, painting… the list goes on! A great lover of the outdoors, he recharges by fishing, hunting, or cooking for his loved ones – especially around the BBQ, where he excels.

What did you do before joining the team?

Before joining the Techsport team, Casey Cameron completed a bachelor's degree in commerce at Concordia University. He then dove into the world of direct marketing and advertising agencies, where he honed his strategic thinking and creativity. Curious to explore the client side, he pursued a career in international sales in the satellite communications field, a journey as diverse as it was enriching, which well prepared him for his current role. This helped him develop a solid toolkit… and some improbable anecdotes to liven up happy hours.

Why is Casey Cameron at Techsport?

What immediately caught Casey's attention at Techsport was the company's mission: to help create play spaces for communities. An idea he found both motivating and meaningful.

And then, the story is also one of friendship: Lee Purcell, VP of Techsport, was his childhood neighbor and best friend. Years later, they randomly met in a bar, talked about the challenges the company was facing… and Casey decided to join the team to help with sales.

As someone who loves sports, the outdoors, and nature activities, he quickly identified with this vision — and the desire to make a real difference in communities.

How do you make decisions as a manager?

With clarity. Casey Cameron believes that wonderful things happen when you focus on what matters: employee well-being and company goals. Sometimes, this means saying no to certain things, to better say yes to what truly moves things forward.
